A PEEK INTO EVIE'S CLOSET

About a month ago I took a position as an event planner in a medieval /fantasy roleplay sim called the Realm of Triskele. I fell so in love with this beautiful sim I actually moved there in my own little home by the sea..

Why do I bring this up? Quite simple being in a Medieval Sim requires you dress the part. I already had quite a few dresses, but this gave me an excuse to expand my wardrobe. While peeking in Market Square I came across a small corner call Evie's Closet. Her gowns are pure fantasy and luxery with rich exquisite textures and layers. The Creator is Evangeline Miles, who I found to be a very sweet woman and I would like to show you today some of her outfits.

The first I show you is called the Chimera Gown in Azure. Evie has a variety of colors to rich jewel tones.. This dress with a jeweled belt and flowy sheer sleeves and skirt. This pic is of me however she does include a notecard to tell you how she accessorized the gown in her displays.

The next gown is her Imperial Moon Gown. I have included a close up of the bodice as well so you can see the detailing as well. She also has this gown with Sun tones as well.

I just love the pattern on the bodice and upper skirt...

Evangelines work is Romance Personified. I would encourage you to see more of her items at her store. Also she has been great about giving gorgeous Limited Edition Items to her group such as the Chimera Dress in Diamond.

THE SHADOWS KNOW!

Last week I had the honor of viewing the sneak peek of the new fashion lines from Crimson Shadow and Carnival of Doom.

This was an absolute heavenly experience, even if the showing was in the "Pits of Hell" I know the wish list for myself and several other attendees has gotten longer.
Here are a few of my Faves:

First was the latex corset and top hat outfit created my Moxie Polano. Who wouldn't want to be dominated by a woman wearing this. Plus Moxie provided the entire outfit from Hat to boots. Its a one stop shop experience.

For the men Hyacinth Tiramisu created this awesome Parlari Suit. I am a sucker for men in black eyeliner to be sure and if this Model hadn't been my little brother I am sure I would have had dirty thoughts. I especially loved the leaf and vines accent on the chest in lieu of buttons.

Plus it kepts getting better and better. I snapped more pics then I know what to do with. The designers used the most amazing textures..No flat black here. Take a look at this little lolita number...

The skirt and lace is just beyond.. (Not to mention the sexy niv modeling it)

And of course what is a fashion show with our the piece de resistance the wedding gown....

The layers of satin with a gorgeous train and the top hat veil.. See what I mean about heavenly?

OK so I gush way to much. Massive Kudos go to Emee Flanagan who organized this show along with the fantastic models, Bright Jacobus, Nivaya Barbosa and Silky Trilling.

Oh and yes all the new items can be found for sale now at Crimson Shadows. So be sure to check it out.. Its just what your darker, sexier side needs.

Elate!

I was elated (see what I did there?) to discover that my friend Kellie Iwish has finally gotten off her arse and opened up a store called Elate! (NOW do you see what I did there? >.>) When she showed me the furniture she made, originally for her own house, what really struck me was that although the design was simple, the textures really made it stand out, bright bold retro-ish hand-drawn fabrics with beautiful shading. A week or so later she dropped a shirt she'd made on me,
which had the exact same beatiful texturing and shading, and a wonderful quirky style, and now, now a store! Only small just yet, but here are some of the goodies you can pick up:

The gorgeous sunshiney 'Retro Stripes Living Room Set', notice the fantastic vintage Vogue magazines on the coffee table, and the yummy looking glasses of pink lemonade, which you can pick up with their perdy stripey tray for free,
to bring a little bit of summer into this dreary February time which is so dreary and...February.

And as for her clothes, they're a mixed-bag of assorted retro-y goodness, with the same beautiful texturing and style that her furniture has, here modelled by CEO of Timeless modelling agency, Emee Flanagan, who after this photoshoot whined that she 'didn't want to be a model anymorrrrrrrrrrre'. It's tough being beautiful.

First up is the goodgirly 'Lillie' dress, with a high neckline, capped sleeves, high-waisted knee-length A-line skirt with buttony detaily thing on the stomach, and comes with opaque black tights.

Next is the sexy 'Mae' dress, a white moddish minidress with a white and black rose-patterned lace overlay for that bit of modesty, giving the neckline of the sheer bodice an elegant, almost Audrey Hepburn-esque quality, or something like that, and has sheer black tights included
so you don't look like you've wandered out in your underwear.

Finally the rockabillytastic Roxane shirt is a long leopard print halter-neck top with a cropped black waistcoat over it, it was the first iten of clothing Kellie made for SL, and works surprisingly well with big tutu-y skirts, but maybe that's just me...

You can visit Kellie's store if you're so inclined (I recommend it, she's got a bedroom set out there now too!) at Elate Fine Furniture and Fashions

FAME! (I'm gonna...live...forever?)

Top Story on the Rezzable home page, there is a fine picture of me! Modelling for the Timeless agency in the invite-only 'Pits of Hell' preview fashion show at Rezzable's amazing Crimson Shadow sim, showing clothes by amazing designers such as Allegory Malaprop, Moxie Polano, hyasynth Tiramisu and Draconic Lioncourt.
Perse is going to cover the show, I theenk, but in the meantime...Go look how good I am! :D
(oh, and honestly, I /don't/ always look like that...;_;)

ASSIGNMENT RUNWAY STARTS WITH A BANG!

It never ceases to amaze me! There is so much amazing artistic vision and genuine talent.. Hence we have Assignment Runway.. This, of course, is based off RL's Project Runway. Talented (Mostly) designers are giving a task to create 3 themed outfits per week which are modeled and judged by 4 Judges. Even more amazing? Its being filmed!

In this first week each designer showed one of their existing pieces.. No one was eliminated, however the amazing Moxie Polano received immunity for next weeks elimination. Her Amazing gown was rich in color and texture.

The contest started with a very moving speech by Timeless CEO Emee Flanagan regarding Ginny Talamasca of last call.. A true artist of the fashion world who was taken way before her time from SL and RL. In honor of Ginny, Emee will be wearing a Gown of her Creation through out the Assinment Runway Experience.

This could be a way long blog to be sure as there were 8 contestents competing, most with amazing outfits (Sorry NeoFred Theas, I just don't see you vision) and I think I totally fell in love with Alla Ruff of Veschi (see left). She was the cutest thing and I think her outfit , though not a gown was the most runway like of all and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! I know Niv was bummed about not being selected as Alla's model..They seemed like 2 peas in a pod.
In any event the competition is really just starting. The next installment will be this Saturday @ 10 AM SL . The location is Cin Cin on The Beach On The Roma, Amore (182,56,667).
Join us to cheer these designers and models on! Our very own Nivaya is a Model for Forda Fairlane!
